No, the first one is more like a ranuncle, but grows from a bulb, not a root. It´s actually a garden plant that spreads quite easily. Tussilago is a wild flower, that thrives where the earth is quite wet. It has quite deep roots and when it has lost its blooms BIIIIIG leaves pop up. Since it is an early sign of arriving spring it´s a flower that is very much loved.
I wonder what could be the name of the first flower. Maybe it doesn’t live in Italy.
Tussilago is Farfara, a medicinal plant that we can use in case of cought… a beautyful and useful flower!!
Pretty little flowers, we call them ”klein hoefblad.”
Well, the other name it has here also includes ”hoef” – hästhov
Very nice – we call them ”Huflattich”
Greetings,
Ulli
Seems that we are many countries that see the similiraty to a ”huf”. 🙂
Ja.
Farfara! Is it the same little yellow flower that you posted some days ago? 🙂

Eranthis hyemalis in latin and Piè di gallo – Anemone invernale – in Italian. 🙂
