During the winter season the prison yard is used for recreational boats that will be put to sea again in midst April. The building to the left is now a hotel and the building to the right – Spinnhuset – includes studios for artists.
The lovely wooden house was earlier used as a laundry. Seen from Reimersholme the old laundry and the prison look like this:
