/ Hi-4 from the Kestrel in the tower of Riddarholmskyrkan, a church 700 years old, originally a monestery build for Fransiscan monks, Ordo Fratrum Minorum.
All amazing images, of the bird, the architecture arround, the city-views from there, and the suggested idea of an imaginary bond between the nesting bird and the St. Francis legend.
🙂 A monestery/church of the Grey Brothers is the common description of the church and it has not struck me until know that those Grey Brothers were the followers of San Franciscus.
A beautiful church, over there the Kestrel like to sit.
Yes, let´s hope that they´ll breed this year. Last year their breeding was interrupted for some unknown reason.
Stunning cathedral, stunning kestrel ❤
Ciao

San Fransicus would have been pleased that kestrels breed in what originally was a monestary build for his followers. 🙂
