Thanks, Edward and Eli. No, it´s not a river. Parts of Stockholm is situated by the sea – salty water – and parts of it, like where I live, are actually islands in a big lake, Mälaren, This is a long arm of Mälaren between two relatively small islands. Sometimes it´s mistaken for a canal, bit it´s not man-maid. 🙂
Får intrycket av att husen står tomma. Har jag rätt?

Nej, de är helt nyligen fasadrenoverade och de står inte tomma. Det var inte många år sedan som dessa fasader fick ny puts, men då användes plastfärg på putsen vilket i det långa loppet åsamkar stora fuktskador. 🙂
